REGULATIONS

COMPETITOR GROUPS: PROFI and NON-PROFI
Competitors compete in two groups: pro and non-profi
CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY TO THE COMPETITION
Persons of legal age with a medical certificate and appropriate freediving competence are allowed to compete.
Each participant is required to send a medical certificate 7 days before the date of the competition, the form of which is available HERE.
The original certificate must be delivered to the organizer on the day of the start of the competition.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPETITION
The competitor dives (in any way but without ballast) to a preset depth (44 meters in the profi group or 20 meters in the non profi group), takes the badge and returns with it towards the surface, but does not surface, but stops at a depth of no more than 2 meters (in the Static Zone marked on the rope) and continues the dive trying to achieve the longest possible time before reaching the surface.
POINTS
The competitor receives points for the time spent in apnea and for the depth achieved. A competitor may receive penalty points in case of failure to provide a badge, failure to reach the set depth or start after Top Time.
DISQUALIFICATIONS
A competitor may be disqualified if he/she arrives too late to the Static Zone, leaves the Static Zone, blackout, airway submersion after ascent, improper execution of the Surface Procedure, starting the dive too late (30 s. from Top Time), using buoyancy adding equipment, inhaling oxygen before the dive begins.
LUNG SQUEEZE
A competitor who is observed symptoms of lung squeeze will not be admitted to the finals
ELIMINATIONS AND FINALS; STARTING ROOM
Competitors start in pairs at the same time. In the finals, the best 6 athletes each compete in the pro group (women and men separately) and in the non-profi group (women and men separately)
EQUIPMENT
Competitor may use double fins or mono fins, mask or specialized goggles, nose clip, watch with stopwatch but may not use foam or weights
STARTING A TRIAL
By starting a dive is meant the complete immersion of the athlete – not just the airway. Dive time is counted from Top Time (not from airway immersion) to the emergence of any part of the competitor’s body.
TERMINATION OF THE TRIAL
Within 20 seconds of surfacing, the competitor must correctly perform the Surface Procedure.
WELCOME ZONE and START ZONE
Coach / buddy may accompany athlete in Warm-up Zone but not in Start Zone
ANTIDOPING TESTS AND USE OF OIL
The inhalation of oxygen and oxygen-enriched mixtures and the use of doping agents are prohibited, but the organizer does not provide for anti-doping tests.

AIDA mini-comp is held in accordance with the current AIDA regulations.
